 A Phoenix is a bird that is completely made from fire and is fake but it is very popular for rising from the ashes. it is a very large bird that is mainly orange and can spit fire, phoenix is also the name of a character from the x-men and her real name is jean gray, and she dates wolverine and cyclops, she is very powerful in the xmen universe and turns out to be evil 

The phoenix is meant to be a reborn from your past life and you have to become someone completely different as you are new born and rebirthed, it originally comes from greek myth, when it dies it combusts and spits all its fire, I wish phoenix were real. they would be cool pets.
