Singin' in the Rain

 Singin' in the Rain is a musical that was released in the 1950's, it is about a girl who is too shy to shy by herself but she is a really good singer and her friends want her to show the world how good she can sing, but she can't do it, so they find a double to stand in and do the acting while she sings backstage. in the finale act the boys play a trick on both girls as the girl who was acting was getting all the limelight and fame for nothing. 

So they decide to bring down the curtain on her at the end of the play, shocking both girls as one is too embarrassed as she had never really had public attention before and the other shocked for faking her voice. The girl who had been hiding her voice is then applauded by her new fans as the other girl runs away in embarrassment. It is a very good film.

The film has been famous around the world for its singing in the rain section, where gene kelly swings around on a lamppost in the rain, it has become so popular that george samson did it on britains got talent and won. adam garcia also did a little dance about the song. Singing in the rain has been voted a great movie for a long time and it is a good movie and I would say if you haven't seen it you should atleast give it a go. thank you for reading tonight.
