Basketball

 Basketball is a sport that is played by tall people like Charles Barkley or Larry Bird, the aim of the game is to get the ball into the other teams basketball this can be done by dribbling the ball across the court and into the net. There are 5 players on a court and they can be sub in and out off the bench at anytime. There are many famous basketball players like Michael Jordan and Shaq and Lebron James. All of these players have to be tall as the net is like over 6 foot.

They made a couple of movies about Basketball called Space Jam where the basketball players have to team up with looney tunes characters, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. There are many different basketball teams like the Celtics, the Warriors, the Bulls and the Raptors. The first recorded game of basketball took place in 1891 in Massachusetts by a Canadian. The game is very popular with alot of people every year going to see the finale of the season and enjoying the basketball. The rules can be a little confusing if you are new to basketball.
